The understanding of Chinese international finance remains limited and often distorted by preconceptions or oversimplified narratives spread by mainstream media. There’s a need to dig deeper, to move beyond the surface and immerse ourselves in the complexities of global finance.
The Financial Silk Road is a tool for exploring Chinese international financial activities, both globally and within China itself. As a Silk Road, the Financial Silk Road represents a constant economic and cultural exchange flowing in both directions.
What I write here will be relevant to policymakers, finance professionals, academics, those who view China as a rival, and those hoping for greater and more fruitful collaboration. Both victory and peace hinge on knowledge. A lack of understanding is defeat in disguise. Not hoping for peace, that’s a disgrace.
Happy reading.
